The weightlessness of space is the concept behind my 3D model. This concept draws on my related image research that features images that are lighter than air and therefore appear weightless. I have drawn inspiration from the colours, textures and opacity of these images. Consistent with this imagery, I want the stars in the animation to ‘orbit’ slowly and peacefully like a solar system while at the same time rotating on their own axis. Ideally, the music track should be soft and serene to fit with the pace of the motion and the quiet, floating ambience of space. I want the video to show my model close up to create interesting perspectives from within. I also want it to be viewed from a distance so that the whole model and all of its movement can be seen.
